Creativity, inspiration, and the difference between what drives and what guides

Frederic recounts that having a baby in the home, which could be seen as added constraints, instead led him to creative ways of still making the choices he wants, and that being creative seems to be what animates him at his core.

The Wonders distinguish drive from guidance: what drives him is a combination of ego, personality and mind based on judgment, definitions and fear, while what guides him moves him to open himself lovingly - as in the decision to bring a child into his life, where his mind judged the pragmatism but the spirit being provided the guidance.

They describe two kinds of creativity: the mind's creativity, which solves puzzles quickly, and the creativity that allows one to observe movement and choose, which is the spirit being.

Likewise inspiration is twofold - intuition arising from the mind's subconscious connection to its surroundings, versus inspiration to expand oneself so as to bring more love into life, which is always from the spirit being; inspiration to create a new widget is the mind.

Asked why some people are more creative, they say it is not that others have a different kind of spirit but that they do not listen - seeing themselves as purely physical entities and accepting only what their mind gives them.

The spirit does not desire a less creative experience; it enters existence as an opportunity to experience love, and when the mind and ego will not listen it simply works with what happens - whether one is abused or an abuser, the spirit says 'we can learn from this', while it is the mind, ego and personality that define which one you are.
